Job Description
Strategize and manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve loans/deposits growth and profitability without compromising on asset quality through increased engagement with customers. Enhance relationships and acquire new business to achieve the given targets/RRWA/CASA. Ensure proper and timely review of loans to maintain good asset quality. Actively grow share of wallet and cross-sell products through collaboration with branches to generate leads/opportunities.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Formulate and develop business strategies to grow loans/deposits base and income to achieve set revenue target/growth (Hunter’s role).
  2. Engage and build strong relationships with customers to grow existing base and generate referrals of new customers.
  3. Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of the Bank’s portfolio of products and services.
  4. Actively monitor market trends through personal contact with customers and industry-associated meetings/events and seminars.
  5. Work closely in collaboration and develop strong working relationships with various business units such as Branches, Hire Purchase, and Trade Finance units to promote cross-selling culture and CASA.
  6. Deliver excellent customer experience at all times, being proactive and responsive to customers’ requests.
  7. Deliver outstanding sales process through fast turnaround of customers’ requests.
  8. Contribute feedback and suggestions on a regular basis to improve workflow processes, systems, and products to compete with other FIs and better service customers.
  9. Proactively manage accounts and regularly review the loans portfolio to identify weak accounts for culling, nurturing, and monitoring to minimize NPL.

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification from a recognized university, preferably a Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
  • At least 2 years of credit and marketing-related experience in SME business (Middle market).
  • Knowledge of the market, current market trends, competitive behavior, and strategy.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
