Job Summary:
The Regulatory Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring the bank adheres to all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies and other workstreams. The role involves compliance operations, regulatory reporting, compliance monitoring, compliance policy reviews and supporting the bank’s overall Singapore compliance framework.

Position: Regulatory Compliance Officer (Senior Officer) - perm

Key Responsibilities:
- A. Compliance Operations
· Monitor and track compliance with regulatory requirements, ensuring adherence to applicable banking laws, standards, and best practices.
· Conduct periodic reviews of compliance-related processes to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
· Maintain up-to-date records of compliance activities, ensuring timely escalation of non-compliance issues. - B. Regulatory Reporting
· Prepare, review, and submit accurate regulatory reports in a timely manner, ensuring alignment with requirements set by local authorities.
· Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness for compliance reporting. - C. Compliance Monitoring Program
· Conduct periodic reviews to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
· Prepare detailed reports on monitoring outcomes and recommend corrective actions.
· Conduct ongoing surveillance and assessments of the bank's activities to identify potential risks or breaches. - D. Regulatory Liaison
· Support on regulatory liaison matters (e.g. SDIC). - E. Policy Reviews
· Assist in updating compliance policies and procedures to reflect current regulatory requirements. - F. Others:
· Support other workstreams on operational risk, business continuity management, third party management and ad-hoc duties.
Job Requirements:
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Recognised Bachelor’s degree.
- Must possess a good attitude, good communication skills, good analytical skills, be meticulous, display proactiveness, enjoy learning new knowledge, and working in a team environment.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in regulatory compliance with exposure to compliance surveillance, control room, regulatory reporting, regulatory liaison and compliance monitoring will be advantageous. Preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Professional regulatory compliance certifications from ICTA or WMI equivalent are highly desirable.
Salary: 4k-7k (depending on experience)
