Position Summary
As a Regional Total Rewards Leader for SEAO, the role is responsible to develop and manage South East Asia and Oceania (SEAO) Total Rewards Strategies. The incumbent will need to work in close partnership with Country Total Rewards and HR Business Partner leaders across the region to ensure the policy and programs are effective and relevant to the business needs in order to attract, engage and retain our employees whilst optimizing labor cost. This role will report to Head of Part, People Team CoE, of SEAO region.
Role and Responsibilities
Strong stakeholder management and act as a trusted advisor and partner on Total Rewards Strategy.
Review, analyze, design and enhance existing compensation and benefits policies and incentive programs to improve employee satisfaction and drive business needs.
Responsible in leading the regional wide annual merit increment, promotion, bi-annual retention incentive plan exercises in a timely and efficient manner for all subsidiaries.
Participate in Total Rewards benchmarking surveys and monitor market trends; evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefits programs and policies.
Ensuring C&B policies and practices are legally compliant across the region and in line with business strategy and aims.
Propose compensation and benefits packages that are aligned with the Company’s policy and guidelines and yet competitive to the market/industry.
Ensure salaries and benefits comply with the current legislation and internal equity, work on leveraging an ideal variable pay platform and pay mix.
Identify and recommend solutions and improvements to the current compensation and benefits work flow and participate in C&B continuous improvement projects.
Be responsible to roll out Total Rewards Programs within the region, and ensure its effectiveness.
Skills and Qualifications
Degree in any related discipline with a minimum of 12 years in HR role; of which 6 years in a regional capacity.
Good understanding of compensation and benefits fundamentals and familiarity with market dynamics and developments through market intelligence and networking.
Maintain a working knowledge of legislation to influence programs and ensure compliance to the regulations and law.
Hands-on team player with strong analytical and communication skills.
At least 5 years of working experience in HRIS related to C&B.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Words and PowerPoint.
