Regional Technical Support Engineer

Our Client:

Our client is a prominent Japanese company, specialising in Office Equipment retail. They are currently looking for an experienced Regional Technical Support Engineer to join their growing team in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

1. Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing Products (Printers, Cutting Plotters, etc.) including software application.
2. Provide technical support to dealers and customers on company products.
3. Attend to customer's complaints and provide solutions that address their needs.
4. Provide Technical Training to Oversea Dealers on company products.
5. Record and submit all service data and reports properly as and when required.
6. Logistic-related In-Out and Inventory management to ensure spare part availability.
7. Collaborate with other internal departments, such as marketing, sales, and technical support, and external stakeholders, such as distributors and customers, to prepare pre-sales support, including sample printing, promotion kit preparation, sales kit creation, and machine specification confirmation repeat testing.

The Requirements:

1. Min O level or its equivalent with at least one year of working experience in a printer related industry.
2. Valid Class 2 or 3 driving license will be a plus.
3. Candidates with no relevant work experience are also welcome to apply.
4. Good interpersonal skills, and a good team player.
5. Liaise with stakeholders in English.
