Objective for the Position

The Regional Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple sites within the APAC region. This role ensures effective integration of SIOP with operations, procurement, logistics, and inventory management to drive operational efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction. Acting as a key business partner, the Regional Supply Chain Manager aligns supply chain and operational strategies with overall business goals, enforces governance across local sites, and drives strategic initiatives for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive regional supply chain strategy to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Lead the development and execution of the 2027 strategy, including the establishment of a second regional warehouse in (South) China.
  • Engage and foster collaboration among the community of Supply Chain Managers across APAC.
  • Align supply chain and operations activities with regional and global objectives, ensuring consistency and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier risks and logistics disruptions.
  • Lead the SIOP process at the regional level, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market demand.
  • Drive the regional SIOP process to enhance visibility, improve decision-making, and mitigate risks.
  • Provide critical support for local SIOP processes across APAC, especially in the context of significant organizational changes.
  • Ensure effective supply planning to maintain optimal inventory levels, avoiding stockouts and overstocking.
  • Provide oversight and support to local site procurement teams to ensure consistency in sourcing strategies.
  • Manage regional logistics operations, including inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing, and distribution.

Job Description :

  • Optimize logistics networks to improve service levels, reduce costs, and enhance delivery reliability.
  • Lead initiatives to improve inventory accuracy and reduce excess inventory through lean principles and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to address supply chain and operational challenges and drive improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and increased supply chain agility.
  • Oversee the implementation of operational best practices, ensuring consistency across all plants.
  • Lead regional initiatives to enhance supply chain and operational resilience and sustainability.

Skills & Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain and operations management, with at least 5 years in a regional or multi-site leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and plant operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, demand planning, and operations.
  • Proven track record of driving supply chain and operational optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Experience in working with advanced supply chain and manufacturing systems and tools (e.g., SAP S4/HANA, MES, TMS, WMS).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region.

Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am - 5.30pm
