Regional Senior Actuary, Structured Solutions
We are looking for a Senior Regional Actuary to take on a pivotal role in the in-force management of financial reinsurance within Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa regions, in our Structured Solutions team.
Reporting to the Technical Director of the LH2 Regional Structured Solutions team, this position offers an exciting opportunity to advance your actuarial career by mastering the complexities of financial reinsurance. While collaborating with diverse stakeholders, you will apply your technical expertise in data management, monitoring, and valuation to ensure seamless in-force management operations of our financial reinsurance.
Your Role:
- Data management: Collaborate with Structured Solutions local teams to ensure accurate and timely receipt of client data for in-force management of LH2 financial reinsurance.
- Monitoring: Prepare regular monitoring reports with actionable insights to support informed decision-making by management. Lead regular monitoring and performance analysis of LH2 financial reinsurance, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Valuation and Reporting: Collaborate with valuation teams, accounting teams, Structured Solutions local teams, and central units to deliver quarterly and annual reporting under Solvency II, IFRS, and local statutory reporting frameworks for LH2 financial reinsurance. Act as a key liaison between teams, ensuring seamless coordination and fulfilment of ongoing valuation and reporting requirements for LH2 financial reinsurance.
- Infrastructure Management: Design, maintain, and enhance the monitoring and reporting infrastructures, while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure infrastructures meet evolving business needs. Ensure guidelines, standards, frameworks, tools, and templates for in-force management of LH2 financial reinsurance are up-to-date and well-documented.
- Deal Support: Provide analytical and technical support for the structuring, pricing, risk analysis, approval, and execution of new or modified financial reinsurance.
Your Profile:
- Fellow of a recognised actuarial body (FSA, FIA, FIAA, or equivalent).
- At least 7 years of actuarial experience in direct insurance, reinsurance, or consulting.
- Advanced technical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data processing and database structuring tools such as Power BI, MS Excel (can perform complex functions), and SQL.
- Solid understanding of Solvency II, IFRS, US GAAP, and RBC frameworks.
- A collaborative and results-oriented team player with the ability to take initiative and lead when necessary.
