Job description

A global water treatment company is looking for a Regional Sales Representative to join the Singapore business.

Sales & Business Growth:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities for electrochlorination products, spare parts and services.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, ensuring profitability and market expansion.
  • Monitor and manage sales forecasts and revenue bookings to meet growth objectives.
  • Take ownership of major projects within the territory, leading the strategy to secure business opportunities.
  • Provide market intelligence to Product Managers and Sales Leaders on industry trends, competition, and customer insights.

Customer & Partner Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners and stakeholders to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee channel partner performance in the South East Asia region, including target setting, performance reviews, and identifying new partners for strategic growth.
  • Train and collaborate with channel partners through joint calls and field activities.
  • Negotiate new and existing contracts, ensuring financial and ethical compliance while fostering a win-win approach.
  • Engage with customers through site visits as needed to conduct product design reviews or resolve commercial issues, facilitating customer commitment to orders.

Operational & Strategic Alignment:

  • Collaborate with the local Service Team to optimize service engineer utilization and drive spare part sales.
  • Work closely with the internal Applications teams to provide customers with the best-fit solutions.
  • Seek technical and commercial support from manufacturing locations to address customer needs when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company governance policies and escalate issues appropriately per the Delegation of Authority (DOA) policy.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 8-12 years of experience in related industry sales and/or business development.
  • Possess 1-2 years of experience in offshore and marine industries with a strong network amongst operational and procurement decision makers.
  • Strong sales and business development acumen with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Experience in partner management, contract negotiations, and market expansion.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Based in Singapore.
