Regional Sales Operations Manager (KR)
Position Summary
The Sales Operations Manager directly reports to the Part Leader of Product Management and, indirectly reports to the Korean expatriate. The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for optimizing the sales team's performance through strategic planning, performance tracking, and operational efficiency within Southeast Asia & Oceania region. This role involves managing key sales metrics, overseeing KPI performance, and ensuring effective supply chain management. The Sales Operations Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals and ensures that sales targets are consistently met.
Role and Responsibilities
- Sales Metrics & KPI Management:
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data.
- Track KPIs to assess team effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for management.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Support the sales team in achieving targets through process optimization and goal setting.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance sales strategies.
- Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee supply chain operations within Southeast Asia & Oceania region to ensure they effectively support sales activities.
- Manage inventory, demand forecast and other related supply chain matters.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with sales, finance, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on goals and performance.
- Enhance effectiveness of sales teams by sharing best practices in sales processes and operations.
- Adapt and localize materials used in other regions, including those from Korean market.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in international sales & KPI management.
- Proven ability to optimize and enhance existing processes based on market feedback.
- Agility and resilience to navigate and influence within a Samsung matrix environment at a local, regional, and global level.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish strong relationships with local sales organizations and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and also communications with the Suwon office.
- Self-motivation, assertiveness, and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic planning and report writing skills.
- Business-level Korean language proficiency is required to liaise with key stakeholders in Suwon office in South Korea. Proficiency in other Asian languages is a plus.
- Occasional travel within Southeast Asia & Oceania and to Suwon office in South Korea.
