Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Identify target markets to develop the business and cover the sales & marketing activities.
  2. Work alongside distributors to train and support them to ensure they effectively represent the brands and business to drive agreed growth levels.
  3. Develop tools, training, and reporting documents to ensure the distributors are well equipped to achieve the agreed objectives.
  4. Identify regional, local groups, and high-end independents in designated territory that fit the brand's profile, as well as develop and manage corporate gifting opportunities in the respective territory.
  5. Business development and build awareness of the business and brands to achieve annual revenue and profit targets.
  6. Develop and implement aggressive sales plans for a particular region, monitoring progress towards meeting the plan's requirements.
  7. Meet regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  8. Work with Operations, including Customer Service and Supply Chain Management, to ensure the achievement of the highest level of service for our clients with high availability across the product range for core lines.
  9. Provide market, competitor, and brand insight for the marketing and management team based in London that supports the development of the commercial program across the region.

Requirements:

  1. Sales experience in either the hotel industry, distributor, or relevant experience in the Asia Pacific region.
  2. Understanding of the luxury travel/lifestyle market, specifically hotels & resorts.
  3. Ability to successfully prospect and close new business.
  4. Thorough understanding of the meaning of luxury.
  5. Experience with a luxury brand selling B2B.
  6. Self-starter with the ability to work independently to achieve assigned goals and objectives.
  7. Successful track record of achieving sales goals and budgets.
  8. Effectively manage travel budget.
  9. Effective communication both verbally and in written form.
  10. Experience of working with distributors would be beneficial.
