Job description

As the Regional Sales Manager, you'll spearhead sales and marketing efforts in the Southeast Asian market. You'll drive business development, coordinate marketing activities, and maintain client relationships to achieve sales targets. What You Can Expect of the Job

  • You’ll manage the regional sales budget, allocate resources effectively, and optimize expenditure to maximize ROI.
  • You’ll develop and implement sales strategies and plans aligned with the company's objectives.
  • You’ll set performance goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching and mentoring for the sales team.
  • You’ll monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify new opportunities.
  • You’ll liaise with Area Sales Manager/ Regional Sales Manager from Headquarters and manage agents/dealers and sales teams in the region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients.
  • Address customer concerns and issues promptly and effectively. Personally engage in cold calling activities to initiate contact with potential clients.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, detailing sales activities, results, and forecasts.
  • Provide product training to the sales team to enhance their understanding and selling capabilities.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial offers in SAM system.
  • Prepare and coordinate official functions, customer training workshops and exhibitions; negotiate advertising space and rate with the publisher; coordinate and prepare advertising materials, e.g. write-up and photos
  • Maintain sales records and preparing sales contracts and agreements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure sales, queries, and deliveries are handled efficiently

What We Expect of You

  • GCE A level or Diploma in Business Administration or similar discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an MNC environment.
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office applications, e.g. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • High sense of responsibility, resourceful, self-motivated, and professional in carrying out the duties
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with the sales team, other departments, and clients.
  • Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural environment with teamwork skills.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to lead and motivate a regional sales team.
  • Strong technical acumen and able to translate complex concepts into customer-friendly language.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region as needed.
