Job description

We are currently looking for a hard working, motivated and self-driven Regional Sales Manager for the region of Asia/ Pacific (APAC), with a base in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity to become an author of your future career story.

WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:

  1. You will manage the Sans Souci affiliate and its team in the APAC region to provide leadership and strategic planning for the office such as: providing visionary leadership to the organization, developing and implementing strategies to achieve, identifying new business opportunities and markets for expansion, establishing short and long term goals and defining the direction of the company.
  2. You will be involved in operations management (e.g. streamlining processes and implementing best practices to improve operational efficiency), risk management and compliance (e.g. ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and industry standards, enforcing policies to minimize legal and regulatory risk), and will also be involved in financial management (e.g. budgets, financial performance and profitability, strategic financial decision making, reporting).
  3. You will lead and manage the sales operations and oversee the activities of the sales management team in the region. The Territory Managing Director will build and manage all aspects of the sales department including management leadership, account management, business analytics and sales/channel/segment development. You will also work closely with the following departments: project management, finance, marketing and other sales teams to ensure the delivery of first class service.
  4. You will have responsibility for the annual sales and business development plan.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  1. Master’s degree.
  2. Czech as mother tongue plus advanced English for professional work.
  3. Proven sales experience from the lighting industry in the Asia/ Pacific region.
  4. Technical background with knowledge and experience in glass production and glass technologies.
  5. International mindset.
  6. Business development experience of at least 7 years (sales of glass/lighting or other luxury products is an advantage).
  7. People management experience of at least 3 - 4 years.
  8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  9. Ability to motivate the team and achieve goals.
  10. Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules, and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
  11. Initiative and a high level of commitment.
  12. Team spirit and high level of interpersonal skills.
