Our client is a leading business exhibitions company, and they are looking for a Regional Sales Executive to join their growing team. If you are an individual who is highly motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, then this is the right role for you!

As the Regional Sales Executive for the China Market, you will be overseeing daily sales performance and implementing sales strategies for the events in the Chinese market. This position requires collaboration with the China Market team / Group Event Director to create and execute effective sales plans that guarantee the financial success of events. Additionally, the role includes cultivating relationships with clients, discovering new business opportunities and ensuring exhibitors' success at our shows. The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication abilities and a solid understanding of the events industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily sales performance and meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Proactively deliver show strategies for new and existing business opportunities.
  • Execute campaign strategies set by the Team Lead and Event Director, focusing on exhibitor numbers, sponsorship revenues and overall yield.
  • Monitor sales plans to ensure targets are met within budget, including outbound call volumes and face-to-face meetings.
  • Develop new revenue streams through creative sponsorship and partnership.
  • Develop and manage multi-channel sales and create sales strategy with partners to win new businesses.
  • Implement event brand strategies to maintain and enhance market relevance.
  • Foster positive relationships with agency, associations, media and commercial partners.

Your experience:

  • A relevant degree in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or account management within the events industry or a related field. The level of the position (Executive or Manager) will be determined based on the candidate's experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • A good understanding of the Chinese market dynamics and business practices.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Ability to travel 30%-40% of the time.
