Our client, a Japanese manufacturing company specializing in small electric motors and motion control systems, seeks a Regional Sales professional to develop and manage activities in the SEA region, focusing on Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia.

Reporting to: Sales Manager
Product: Motion Control System, Range of motors

Responsibilities:

1. Grow and develop existing distributor and key account relationships.
2. Conduct market research, monitor the business environment, trends, and sales performance, and gather competitor's information.
3. Attend to Distributor/Direct overseas customer inquiries, sales support, and site-related matters.
4. Perform joint visits with the Distributor to end-user workplaces/offices in the SEA region (especially Vietnam, Philippines, and Indonesia).
5. Showcase Products & Technical Information.
6. Establish and maintain good relations with Distributors/clients through active follow-up and regular sales visits.
7. Increase product and brand awareness in the market.
8. Planning and implementation of marketing strategies.
9. Identify potential opportunities & develop solution selling.
10. Any related ad hoc duties assigned.

What you will receive:

1. Variable Bonus (depending on the company and individual performance)
2. Annual leave: 12 days (prorated for the first year, additional 1 day after 3 years, and up to 20 days)

Requirements & Preferences:
(Must)

1. Diploma holder in Engineering/Business/Marketing
2. At least 3-5 years of B2B regional and outdoor sales experience within the Engineering manufacturing industry
3. Has experience managing distributors
4. Comfortable with travelling around the SEA region on short notice
5. Strong drive to achieve business objectives & to develop the domestic/Overseas market.

(Advantageous)

1. Experience working as a Regional Sales Executive within electrical products
2. Experience working in a Japanese company
3. The ability to join within short notice would be advantageous!
