As a part of our scale up process for growth, we are looking for an experienced Sales Professional to help secure new projects and increase revenue in the APAC Region. The ideal candidate will be based in Singapore and preferably have resident approval to work. International travel is to be expected.


This role demands an excellent understanding of the current market trends, demonstrating a strong history of senior level engagements in a lead sales role to Tier 1 Fiber Network, Broadcast Operators and Content Owners. Specifically in relation to the deployment of technically complex solutions for sizable projects within the end to end live and offline professional video delivery ecosystem from content capture, to consumer.


If you possess significant experience and a well-established industry network, particularly within a vendor or system integrator environment, along with a solid technical understanding of fixed and mobile video contribution, production, streaming, and content distribution, this expertise will greatly benefit the commercial engagement process. It will help ensure that the solutions offered are aligned with the client’s operational needs from concept through to delivery.


Key Qualifications

  • Relevant higher education: MSc or MBA or equivalent experience
  • Proven business development, sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • An established industry network with strong relationship to key stakeholders in the industry
  • Enterprise sales experience in Video compression, Streaming, Online-Video Production, OTT, FAST, IP Networking and cloud or cluster based networks
  • Comfortable in interacting with clients at C level in a technical/commercial engagement
  • Strong knowledge of live video workflows for media and broadcast companies including live linear channel, live event contribution, and OTT delivery using cloud-based services for content ingest, transcoding and delivery
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Increase revenue on yearly basis by meeting or exceeding set targets in line with global business objectives
  • Work closely with regional head on sales strategy. Identify key market segments to generate leads, business opportunities and prioritize sales activities
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to ensure steady flow of opportunities
  • Actively seeking new clients and business opportunities. Map organization and Identify key influencers within qualified leads
  • Maximize sales potential with key customers and partners by maintaining stronger relationship to become a trusted advisor. Establish contact and prepare appropriate material together with Technical Sales
  • Prepare regular sales reports, and provide accurate revenue forecasts. Monitor sales performance and generate reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive key areas effecting customers in the region, it can be product features to develop with product owners or customer portal improvement with customer support department
  • Participate in industry events, conferences and customer meeting to build brand awareness. Provide feedback on market trends to internal stakeholders
  • Availability to travel as needed
