Cardinal Health Regional Sales and Marketing Manager in Commercial, Singapore
Position Summary
The Regional Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for key strategic, business development, analytical and cross-department projects that support the expansion or optimization of Cardinal Health’s Business Objectives and Operations. He/she should excel at solving strategic business problems, leading business improvements, and supporting field operations working with dedicated or multi-line distributor teams & business partners to evaluate new opportunities & optimize business networks to drive growth.
The role will report directly to the Channel Partnerships Asia General Manager and be a critical member of the Channel Partnership Asia Leadership Team.
Scope: HK, Taiwan, Philippines, India and Vietnam
Responsibilities
- Full P&L responsibility and accountability. Drive exceptional performance against internal & external metrics.
- Formulate and execute competitive commercial strategies that align with the company directives to achieve short and long-term revenue growth, while ensuring that goals are consistent with the vision and mission of Cardinal Health.
- Set clear KPIs, track and monitor performance of Internal Sales Team & Distributors across CP Asia.
- Guide, Coach & Manage Sales team to success with leadership of key customer facing activities, including marketing, sales, professional education, key customer and distributor management nationwide.
- Ensure sustainable and profitable in-market growth without excessive loading of inventory.
- Successfully achieve multiple new product launches with associated metrics. Ensure deep customer, competitor & environmental insights are incorporated in plans & execution.
- Develop & implement strategy for additional growth drivers such as inorganic business development, as well as other Cardinal Health solutions and services.
- Development of new/existing KOL relationships and association with relevant key clinicians.
- Partner with functional leaders to ensure excellent functional performance including Finance, QRA, IT, HR, Communications and Legal & Compliance.
- Influence public policy outcomes in collaboration with functional leaders & industry partners.
- Represent the company on relevant industry & external stakeholder bodies.
- Ensure strong governance and controls including compliance and integrity are embedded and delivered at every level within the organization.
Qualifications
- Proven ability in delivering strong P&L with a track record in generating profit and ensuring sales growth.
- Track record to achieve results in challenging and complex business environments.
- Deep experiences working, leading and leveraging distributors to drive successful business outcomes.
- Knowledge of socio-economic environment and market dynamics within target market and strong customer and external environment orientation.
- Ability to build mutually beneficial networks and partnerships with key external leaders and agencies to develop value-generating solutions.
- Demonstrates high level of alignment to the Core Values with unquestioned ethics and integrity. Track record of establishing and championing a culture of Health Care Compliance.
- Demonstrated enterprise mindset with ability to influence and collaborate in a global, matrixed environment to achieve business objectives.
- Embraces out-of-the-box thinking in engaging and challenging teams when looking at challenges and opportunities.
- Ability to lead and think strategically and yet is hands-on, operationally.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science or equivalent.
- A minimum of 8+ years of progressive leadership experience is required, preferably in medical device or pharmaceutical / health care industry.
- Fluency in English (required) and preferably knowledge of conversational Mandarin.
- Strong business acumen.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.
- Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross – functional teams.
- Ability to work independently, takes initiative and work with some ambiguity.
