As the Regional Retail Manager - Asia Pacific, you will be instrumental in ensuring the profitable performance and compliance of our franchise stores across the region. You will be responsible for developing, mentoring, and guiding franchisees to enhance store operations and performance, ensuring the brand’s excellence in every location.

This position will involve working closely with our franchise teams to foster alignment, share best practices, and support them in achieving their growth and sales objectives. You will be the key figure in driving both store openings and meeting sales targets, while ensuring that the consistency of our operations model remains top-notch across the board.

You will be reporting directly to our Regional Director, APAC, and you will work from Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s regional office in Singapore (Robinson rd.).

This is the job:

• Laser Focus on KPI’s for franchise stores.
• Deliver and drive our operating model (Easy Store) for our franchise partners.
• Align internally on specific franchise needs on retail store operations.
• Define and cascade retail store operations standards to drive retail store excellence.
• Liaise with franchisees on store performance and agree on action plans for improvements.
• Support franchisees on maximizing revenue and optimizing cost spend.
• Lead the end-to-end store opening process from hand-over from store construction.
• Project management in collaboration across functions and franchisees.

This is you:

Most importantly you have extensive retail experience and knowledge of best practices within retail operations. Your experience leading and managing across multi retail stores and markets is an asset as well as your experience leading franchisees and retail partners is valued.

The ability to engage, motivate, and mobilize teams across countries comes naturally to you and years of working in retail have taught you to perform and adapt in a changing environment with high demands and time-sensitivity.

You are a self-driven problem solver with the ability to connect, build relations and communicate effectively across cultures.

As we are an international team and our stakeholders are from all over the world, we expect you to speak and write fluent in English and we know you are a strong communicator!

Furthermore, we know that you are an expert in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Willingness to travel across the Asia Pacific region as needed.

We are 8 colleagues working from the regional office in Singapore and we are working closely with colleagues in our head office in Copenhagen as well as our partners across the region. We thrive in an international, informal, and fast paced environment. We have plenty of retail and franchise experience but at the same time, we are entrepreneurs, we are building the franchise business for Flying Tiger Copenhagen, and we are not afraid of testing new ways of working or thinking out of the box. We have a target of opening 1,000 Franchise stores in 5 years, and we are just getting started.
