Job description

Job Overview: The Regional Assistant Manager will be responsible for guiding regional sales offices in executing ecommerce strategies, leading marketplace operations across major platforms, and optimizing product visibility and sales performance. This role will involve close collaboration with country teams, managing digital campaigns, and analyzing ecommerce performance data to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ecommerce Strategy & Marketplace Management:

    • Lead the development and execution of ecommerce strategies aligned with local market dynamics.

    • Oversee marketplace operations across platforms like Shopee, Lazada, Amazon, Tokopedia, and brand e-stores, ensuring product visibility and sales growth.

    • Collaborate with country teams to implement promotional campaigns, enhance customer experience, and manage marketplace KPIs.

    • Provide thought leadership on ecommerce trends, digital shelf management, and customer journey optimization.

  2. Product Marketing:

    • Plan and execute product positioning and marketing initiatives across regional markets.

    • Work closely with local product managers and sales teams to ensure alignment with sales objectives.

    • Manage the creation and roll-out of online marketing materials such as product descriptions, visuals, guides, and videos.

    • Support product launches and lifecycle campaigns.

  3. Data & Performance Analysis:

    • Analyze ecommerce performance data, digital KPIs, and marketplace insights to drive improvements.

    • Track and report on key metrics such as conversion rates, ROAS, campaign performance, and category share.

    • Monitor competitive landscape and consumer behaviors, offering data-driven recommendations to senior stakeholders.

    • Generate and present monthly business reports with actionable insights.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in ecommerce or product marketing in a B2C context, preferably within tech or consumer solutions.

  • Proven experience managing product visibility and driving sales on major ecommerce marketplaces (Shopee, Lazada, Amazon).

  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Comfortable with evolving technology and open to using AI tools and digital platforms to enhance productivity.

  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region as needed.
