Regional IT Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

Due to continued growth, an exciting contract opportunity now exists to join a highly experienced, collaborative and outcomes focused Asia-Pacific IT team working closely with the helpdesk and applications team, end users and stakeholders across the region.

We are seeking a Regional IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Infrastructure Team to participate in the group projects as well as to work on the IT Security initiatives in alignment to the Group’s agenda. You would be expected to handle the day to day operations of our IT security and infrastructure systems, as well as level two/three support and project related tasks. This is a regional roles that you should be comfortable working independently and as well as a team.

This role will be based in Singapore and reports to the IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager– Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage vendor partnerships for infrastructure or processes including service level agreements, deliverables, and maintaining an understanding of cost.
• Manage and review an existing IT infrastructure within the organization, IT Administration and Support to Users.
• Participation in IT Infrastructure or Group level project including defining program, project scope and objectives for the Systems/Infrastructure aspects.
• Lead the security aspect during project proposal, requirements gathering, workflow analysis, development, user acceptance, post-implementation review and user/vendor management
• Provide technical consultation on the integration of the regional platform to support seamless user experience.
• Perform vulnerability, risk assessments and recommend resolutions
• Coordinate with the various IT team in the Group for security deployment
• Review, Propose and devise improvements to security device technical setups and configurations ensuring compliance to company baselines and industry best practices.
• Monitor, investigate, analyse and response to cyber security exposure
• Recommendation for the improvement and growth of IT infrastructures, systems and products to deliver customized solutions.
• May be required to work after hours and weekends on an ad hoc basis depending on business requirements
• Manage and schedule visits to Data Center to ensure up to date process for Data Center access and work with hardware/service provider to access the Data Center facilities and equipment

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

• Minimum Diploma/Tertiary or professional qualification in Information Technology/Computer Science
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience in Microsoft Windows Technologies, Networking and Virtualisation technologies
• Previous experience working with Microsoft 365, Cloud and Virtualisation technology would be ideal.
• Expertise in cybersecurity risk management, security framework and compliance, technical vulnerability assessment and penetration test), and security incident response
• Must be comfortable working in a team-based environment as well as being able to work independently.
• Hands-on experience on security and data protection related technologies, regulation, and standards would be advantageous
• Participation in IT Infrastructure or Group level project including defining program, project scope and objectives for the Systems/Infrastructure aspects.
