Regional HR Manager – Manufacturing

We are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading organisation in the manufacturing industry, who are looking for a new regional HR Manager to join their Asia team. They have an established presence internationally and exciting growth in Asia, across Singapore and Malaysia.

As the Regional HR Manager, reporting into the Managing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function. Operating as the standalone HR personnel, you will be involved in everything from day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, learning, development and talent management, HR policies, employee relations, compensation & benefits as well as overseeing payroll, mobility and any other ad-hoc office-wide initiatives across Singapore and Malaysia. You will need to be comfortable functioning in both a strategic and hands-on operational role, whilst cultivating a positive and inclusive workplace which aligns with the Company’s values and objectives.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys setting up and running a HR function whilst also working closely with the senior management team in Asia and global HR team.

To be successful in this role, you will come with experience as a sole HR individual in an international organization, supporting Singapore and SEA markets. You will come with broad knowledge of HR best practices, managing full HR spectrums including employee relations, payroll, recruitment, HRIS, and handling work pass applications. You will have excellent communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders from a variety of levels across the two markets. You will be organised with a strong ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively. You will be confident in understanding how to handle sensitive information with discretion and you will bring experience in driving a positive working culture.

Critical: HR Manager experience setting up HR function from scratch and building a positive workforce culture, in a blue-collar environment.

Location: Singapore (West), on-site 5 days per week.
