Job description

Our client, a state-owned company within the commodities sector with over S$2 billion in operating revenue, is seeking a Regional HR Manager.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Regional HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing the regional HR functions, which include talent acquisition, performance management, compensation and benefits, and streamlining HR operations. The Regional HR Manager will also participate in networking events to identify potential talent for recruitment purposes.

Successful candidates can expect to work in a reputable organization with the opportunity to establish the regional HR department.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess at least a Degree in Human Resources or equivalent.
  • At least 15 years of working experience in HR functions, with at least 3 years within the Commodity Trading industry.
  • Candidates with prior work experience with State-Owned Entities (SOE) are preferred.
  • Fluent Mandarin is required to communicate with Chinese counterparts.
  • Willingness to travel to Southern Africa.
