The Asia Pacific region currently includes Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Singapore, employing nearly 3000 employees.

As we continue our transformation and growth journey in the region, we are seeking a dynamic Regional HR Business Partner to join our team, reporting directly to the Vice President, HR, Asia Pacific.

The role will ideally be based in either Singapore or Vietnam.

This role provides full accountability for HR Business Partnering across South East Asia, enabling the business to achieve its goals through expert HR leadership and management.

What You'll Do

Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with senior business leaders to implement HR strategies that align with business goals, support engagement and enhance performance.

Labour Law Expertise: Ensure compliance with local labour laws across SEA markets, particularly Singapore, Vietnam, and other key countries in the region.

Employee Relations: Proactively address employee relations matters, ensuring a positive, inclusive and compliant workplace environment.

Collective Agreements: Navigate and manage various collective agreements across Asia Pacific, working closely with unions and stakeholders to maintain alignment.

HR Process Standardisation: Ensure the standardisation of HR processes across SEA.

M&A Projects: Manage human resource-related due diligence (DD) for mergers and acquisitions in SEA markets.

Learning & Development: Support initiatives such as the Lineage Way and other internal development programs to ensure capability and support organisational growth.

Team Leadership: Develop and guide a team of HR Business Partners and Coordinators, fostering excellence and alignment with organisational objectives.

Continuous Improvement: Champion innovation and performance improvement through reporting, metrics and fostering a culture of learning and growth.

What We're Looking For

Extensive HR Expertise: An accomplished Generalist HR practitioner, preferably in a blue-collar environment.

Leadership Experience: Proven ability to support and develop experienced HR teams across multiple SEA markets.

Regional Expertise: Direct experience managing teams and HR functions in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, India, Japan, Korea etc.

Labour Law Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of workplace legislation across SEA markets, particularly Singapore and Vietnam.

Industrial Relations Knowledge: Experience with enterprise agreements, union negotiations and managing collective agreements across various jurisdictions in Asia Pacific.

Change Management: Skilled in navigating and supporting organisational change, restructures and capability development.

M&A Expertise: Proven experience in the human resource aspects of M&A projects, including due diligence.

Development Focus: Passion for delivering training sessions, workshops and internal capability programs.

Tech Savvy: Familiarity with HRIS systems, particularly Workday and intermediate proficiency in reporting and IT tools.

People-Centric: Exceptional interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
