Our Client is a MNC with strong regional presence and a leading, fast-growing organization in Asia seeking an experienced and passionate finance professional to join its dynamic team. The role is suited for an entrepreneurial, strong leader with a hands-on approach and a strong ability to influence both senior leadership and operational teams. The position will play a key role in overseeing the Southeast Asia finance function, ensuring the smooth execution of all accounting, management, and statutory reporting processes.

About the Job

Reporting to the Regional CFO, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of accounting and reporting across the Group, adhering to both local and international accounting standards. You will lead the Southeast Asia finance team in managing month-end closing and reporting across seven countries, reviewing financial data, and supporting the regional CFO in working capital management. You will oversee the internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with statutory and fiscal requirements while driving improvements in reporting quality and analysis. Additionally, you will manage the finance control framework, identify process gaps, and provide guidance to local business partners on global policies and procedures. Working closely with other finance and functional teams, you will also support regional FP&A efforts and lead various ad hoc projects as required.

Skills and Experience Required

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications
• Relevant experience in audit, controllership, and regional finance management
• Experience in MNC environment, particularly in diverse finance and business support roles
• Strong expertise in finance transformation is a plus
• Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is highly desirable
• Strong technical accounting knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective at working with diverse stakeholders and teams.
