As a key member of the Global Travel Partnerships (GTP) team, the Regional Director, Travel Partners - Asia Pacific (APAC) will represent Hilton’s Travel Partners (TMC and Consortia) initiatives in the APAC region. This role focuses on managing a portfolio of Travel Management Company (TMC and Consortia) accounts, driving revenue growth, and executing Hilton’s global travel partner strategy in the region.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Strategic Leadership
- Represent Travel Partners in-region and provide education and support on agency distribution related topics.
- Lead negotiations and establish new commercial agreements with APAC-based TMCs and Consortia.
- Implement Hilton’s global travel partner strategy within the region by collaborating with other Directors and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute business plans to optimize global agreements, driving incremental revenue and market share.
- Act as the key liaison for TMCs, ensuring alignment with Hilton's broader commercial objectives.
Collaboration and Communication
- Partner with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Hilton Field Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, B2B Honors, and other commercial teams to deliver a cohesive and consistent strategy.
- Establish clear communication within commercial leadership to monitor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Align with APAC leadership team to understand, align, and support regional goals.
- Be an active contributor to the TA partners global goals and an active participant on weekly team calls.
Account Management
- Lead all commercial activities for assigned TMC and Consortia accounts, setting and achieving revenue targets.
- Utilize marketing funds strategically to maximize return on investment and drive incremental value.
- Identify and implement additional services to support hotels and brands, ensuring competitive performance.
Data-Driven Decision-Making
- Leverage analytics to prioritize opportunities and challenges, deploying tactics to capture market share and revenue growth.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance strategic alignment and to optimize results.
WHY YOU’LL BE A GREAT FIT
You have these minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma, bachelor’s degree in business or hospitality desired
- 10+ years of overall experience
- 8+ years of hospitality experience in the travel industry / corporate hotel sales
- Strong in account and customer management
- Travel up to 40%, including international destinations, depending on business needs
- Second language is a plus
