Key Responsibilities:
International Market Expansion:
Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the company’s product offerings in international markets.
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and potential market sectors that align with the company’s growth objectives.
Focus on growing sales within the Food Service industry, leveraging expertise in Food Packaging products such as Cling Film, Aluminium Foil, Baking Parchment Paper, Vinyl and Latex Gloves, Zipper Bags.
Trade Exhibitions & Business Development:
Represent the company at overseas exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.
Conduct business presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients and partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Assist the sales team in identifying and closing new business deals.
Further develop and strengthen existing customer accounts to maximize revenue.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership agreements to ensure business profitability.
Distributor Management:
Manage and support distributors in assigned regions to drive sales growth and market penetration.
Develop and implement strategies to improve distributor performance and ensure alignment with company goals.
Provide training, product knowledge, and marketing support to distributors to enhance their sales effectiveness.
Monitor distributor sales performance and address any challenges to optimize market reach.
Product & Market Research:
Identify emerging trends, consumer demands, and competitive landscape in international markets.
Recommend potential new product offerings and complementary sectors for the company.
Formulate entry and exit strategies for new market segments.
Strong preference for candidates with knowledge of barrier films or specialty films used in flexible packaging, including but not limited to Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP) applications.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful market entry, including supply chain, marketing, and sales.
Develop pricing strategies, promotional plans, and distribution strategies tailored for different regions.
Monitor and analyze sales performance and market trends to optimize business strategies.
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities.
Adapt and take on additional duties as required by the company to support its international growth objectives.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Diploma in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in international business development, sales, or trade marketing, preferably in the FMCG or Food Packaging sector.
Prior experience in selling barrier films or specialty films for food packaging is highly preferred.
Experience in managing distributors and driving distributor-led sales growth is an advantage.
