The successful candidate will ensure that individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives. All activities conducted will be in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
As a Reference Data Analyst, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's Static Data team. You will be responsible for delivering consistent service that meets established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Your duties will include managing data quality breaks, setting up Standard Settlement Instructions in source systems, assisting in the execution and monitoring of end-to-end migration processes for core banking systems, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), identifying potential risks to minimise operational impact, and documenting process changes, operational workflows, and standard operating procedures.
The ideal candidate for the Reference Data Analyst position brings a comprehensive understanding of bank systems from both front-end and back-end perspectives. Vendor knowledge or experience with Loan IQ, Gloss, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and OMEGEO alert services is highly desirable. You should be able to work independently and provide after-office-hours support as part of the London coverage remit. An understanding of operational controls and risks is essential. Excellent communication skills are required for this role. Being system-savvy is a prerequisite for this role.
