This is a critical role that must ensure the successful implementation of our Global DTC strategy in Asia for what pertains to Real Estate and Franchise topics.
The scope of this role is therefore very wide and the key results that need to be driven critical to the business including overseeing more than 350+ real estate projects per year that are critical to achieving our blueprint objective of being DTC led and reaching a fleet of 3500+ seamlessly integrated stores in the next 5 years.
Responsibilities
Lead global real estate and franchise strategy and support for our fleet of 1800+ stores in Asia.
Translate strategy to the successful execution of 350+ real estate/franchise projects per year in Asia.
Drive decisions through the Global investment board for Asia projects (>20 projects per month).
Strategic analysis of most important global real estate projects proposed and provide recommendation on approval, challenging cluster teams where needed.
Lead selected global strategic projects in the field of Real Estate and Franchise to drive impact across clusters.
Be a key strategic partner for senior leaders across the organization on global and major cluster specific topics, responding fast to ad-hoc requests.
Support strategic projects such as strategic acquisitions, partner turnarounds, buybacks.
Lead preparation of Asia strategic analysis of our global real estate business to present to the company board (CEO/CFO to review prior).
Support omnichannel strategy roll-out with partners in Asia.
Co-develop different systems and tools to enable and equip all clusters globally in the field of Real Estate and Franchise (ex: RE DB, FR Playbook, Pitch deck, BIM360 integrated fleet solution).
Requirements
Master’s in business administration/ Advanced Business Economics and/or relevant experience.
10+ years of relevant experience (retail, franchise, account management, strategy consulting), preferably in an international environment.
Experience in the retail industry is mandatory, notably Real Estate.
Ability to grasp complex issues through strong analytical skills and to generate strategic recommendations that are future oriented and applicable globally.
Ability to work cross functionally with senior leaders and deliver in changing environments, ensuring a smooth roll out of new capabilities.
Strong organization skills and problem-solving attitude.
Vast Business Analysis experience in a number of significant/ global projects.
Experience of working in a complex matrix environment.
Practical experience of documenting business processes using specified process methodologies.
Knowledge of specified structured analysis techniques.
Excellent communication skills.
Technical ability to work across multiple systems and extract relevant data and insights.
Ability to work in an international multicultural team.
