RDD Finance Manager, FP&A

Job Description

Finance Business Partner supporting Research Development Division (RDD) team for Global Overhead and Capex in Singapore, reporting to Global Overhead Head of Finance.

1. Drive monthly and quarterly forecasting process, communicate requirements and expectations, and collaborate with stakeholders to do bottoms up forecast.
2. Lead the annual budget planning process to drive the financial roll up, align expectation from top down and completeness of loading the financials.
3. Able to present accurate and meaningful consolidated financial performance detailing variances to budget, forecast, and prior year to facilitate senior leader discussion.
4. Work closely with BU finance to report the 5 year long term financial planning and understanding the roadmap/strategy.
5. Drive spend prioritization and cost trending discussion with stakeholders to deliver function strategy.
6. Partner with key RDD stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and drive towards RDD objective and goal.
7. Key contributor of initiatives and projects implementation.
8. Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of the organization as subject matter expert.
9. Drive business decisions and contextualize advice to ensure relevance within Dyson, based on solid grounding of how Dyson operates and the current operating environment.
10. Ability to understand and create value from data analytics to impact the business.
11. Ability to clearly present and communicate complex data analysis.
12. Serve as a trusted finance business partner for the Global Overheads team as well as with key RDD stakeholders of the business.
13. Working closely with BU finance and other RDD Finance team members.

Minimum Requirements

1. Minimum 7-9 years of experience in FP&A with strong analytical experience and P&L ownership.
2. BS/BA required; MBA/CPA a plus.
3. Strong knowledge of modelling/forecasting, planning, budgeting, management reporting.
4. Good to have experience with Onstream/SAP or Hyperion or relevant FP&A tool.

Additional Qualifications

1. Expert user in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ThinkCell.
2. Experience in analytical tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
3. Methodical / driver-based business planning capability.
4. Lead or manage a team before would be a plus.
5. Previous experience managing multiple initiatives and priorities.
