Rail Electrical/Mechanical Engineer

The Opportunity:

• Permanent Role
• 5 day work week
• Work location: Island-wide

Adecco is partnering with a renowned transportation and railway company where the selected candidate will oversee a diverse range of complex railway and tunneling projects and manage the overall electrical & mechanical systems and services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full life cycle from drafting, evaluating, negotiating, and executing various contracts.

The Job:

• Project management of the construction transit project for new MRT Lines and/or enhancements to existing lines.
• Responsible for the safety, quality, progress, and environmental impact of the contractors' works and ensure that works are carried out in accordance with the required specifications for the successful completion of the project and handover to the appointed Railway Operator.
• Liaise with various parties, such as other project teams, system-wide and civil contractors, designers, architects, stakeholders, and the appointed Railway Operator to ensure that the projects are well coordinated and review and address their feedback appropriately.

The Talent:

• Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Mechanical / Computer Engineering or related engineering disciplines
• At least 3 years of working experience in railway engineering projects / project management
• Strong project management, decision-making, and leadership skills
