Job Description:

You will be responsible for independently performing various radiographic examinations, including ultrasound and other imaging modalities, while prioritizing patient care, clinical responsibility, radiation protection, and effective technology utilization. Your role will also involve supervising student radiographers, leading quality improvement projects, and coordinating with staff and clinicians on radiographic-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing radiographic examinations of diagnostic quality
• Supervising student radiographers
• Leading quality improvement projects
• Coordinating with staff and clinicians
• Maintaining imaging equipment and accessories
• Specializing in advanced imaging modalities, such as CT, MRI, Ultrasound, or Mammography
• Assisting in procedures like Coronary Angiography and PTCA

Requirements:

• Recognized degree in Diagnostic Radiography
• Registration or eligibility for Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) registration
• Candidates with 2-3 years of experience in Interventional Radiography or RISPACS management have an advantage for cardiac radiography
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Supervisory experience may be considered for senior positions
• Candidates with 3 years of Nuclear Medicine experience may be considered for team lead roles
