R5 Country Finance Leader

TITLE: Region 5 Finance Leader

REPORTING TO: Solid line to Head of CVS Finance, APAC, Matrix to Japan/R5 Country Leader

REPORTS: Region 5 Finance team members (2 in Singapore, 3 in Thailand)

SCOPE AND IMPACT OF POSITION IN THE ORGANIZATION:

• Responsible for the financial performance of the location and integral member of the location management team.
• Monitoring of optimal use of resources.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Drive the country to short-term and mid-term financial commitments.
2. Provide insightful finance analysis and management information to the country leader including reviewing performance measures to drive profitable revenue growth.
3. Ensure and take responsibility for quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial statements (P&L / balance sheet) according to IFRS of the reporting units.
4. Lead and manage the forecast process across the business - monthly sales forecast, quarterly business reviews and annual long-term OP and SP, including risk and opportunity assessment.
5. Ensure that the planned success of the reporting unit location is achieved by planning, management, and controlling.
6. Develop and implement high-performance planning and controlling systems, ensuring the monthly, annual SAP accounting systems (FI / CO modules).
7. Monitor the optimal use of resources.
8. Review financial data analysis.
9. Prepare presentation packages for management meetings (incl. Quarterly business reviews).
10. Provide advice to managers, in particular to the management team in terms of business support and, if necessary, initiation of necessary measures to achieve the goals.
11. Lead monthly closing and ensure the data accuracy.
12. Monitor, guide, and report out compliance issues as compliance representative.
13. Support on investment management for affiliated companies.
14. Lead Region 5 finance team.
15. Adhoc tasks assigned by leader.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3-5 years’ experience in management role in Finance with strong understanding of the major processes and functions across the business.
• Experience in managing remote team cross countries.
• Experience should cover a range of disciplines within finance (e.g. accounting, controlling, internal control, Tax, ERP etc.).

PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business or finance.
• Fluent English. Strong analytical skills and action-oriented individual with integrity and trust.
• Good motivator and effective communicator who functions well in an international matrix organization.
• Powerful execution ability and comprehension ability.
