The Food Technologist is responsible for supporting research and development of new products and/or processes, including the innovation and renovation of products/processes, with the objective to support the long-term growth of the dairy and beverages business of the F&N Group and its subsidiaries. This role requires interaction and cross-functional collaboration to ensure projects are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist and lead product development from concept, trial to commercialization in line with overall strategic direction and objectives.
Identify opportunities for improvement on existing products, ingredients, and processes.
Manage and deliver assigned projects in a timely manner.
Lead and conduct trial runs, commercial runs, and troubleshooting.
Work closely with product leaders, project managers, and specialists on planning, executing, and following up on trials/tests related to the innovation and renovation of products/processes at the Pilot Plant.
Possess proficient knowledge of food regulations and compliance.
Assist in planning and transforming the current documentation system into a paperless system.
Requirements:
Degree in Food Science, Technology, Engineering, Nutrition, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
Preferably 2-5 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, particularly in Beverage Research & Product Development (hands-on experience in operating a Pilot Plant is ideal).
Possess project management skills.
Team player with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
