Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Chemical Manufacturing
• Position Title: R&D Electrical Engineer
• Working Location: Central
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.45 AM – 5.30 PM)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $3,800 + AWS + Bonus + Transport Allowance + Flexible Benefits
• Duration: Contract (3 years – Renewable)

Key Responsibilities

• Use 3D CAD design tools and perform high-precision 3D printing (FDM & DLP).
• Build simple circuit boards for sensor control and data acquisition using basic microcontroller boards like Arduino, ESP32, or STM32.
• Test and assemble electronic and mechanical parts, and debug software using basic tools like Python or C++.
• Maintain laboratory inventory and handle laboratory administrative tasks (procurement, equipment maintenance/repairs, and safety matters).
• Perform administrative tasks, such as ordering and payment using the SAP system.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• NITEC/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, or relevant discipline.
• Basic experience in 3D CAD design software, like Solidworks and Fusion360.
• Experience with microcontroller boards like Arduino, ESP32, STM32.
• Basic experience in handling simple electronics and basic hands-on soldering skills.
