Responsible for evaluating tenders, managing contracts, and advising on contractual matters. Preparation of tender submissions and tender documentation/drawings.
Prepare and submit variation and cost claims.
Identify variation orders and submit accurate cost implications, spreadsheets, and formation of sub-contract documents and conditions.
Explore and implement innovative solutions and best practices on procurement, contract strategy, and related functions.
Project budgeting and costing reports.
Correspondence between all consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
Assist Manager in all other QS-related jobs not limited to liaison with sub-contractors/suppliers, measurement of quantities, and analyzing cost comparisons.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or its equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of quantity surveyor experience for QS role, 7 years of quantity surveyor experience for Senior QS role in the Construction Industry.
Experience in post-contract and/or pre-contract.
Good knowledge of best practices in procurement and contract administration.
Good knowledge of Standard Conditions of Contract, SIA, and PSSCOC contracts.
Independent, proactive, resourceful, result-oriented, able to meet tight schedules, and with a good eye for detail.
