Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at C&R Interiors Pte Ltd, based in Jurong West. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing carpentry cost, claim management, and contractual aspects of carpentry projects, ensuring they are claimed on time.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare detailed cost estimates and valuations for carpentry.
2. Manage the procurement process, including negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.
3. Monitor project expenditure and claim status, providing regular financial reports.
4. Advise on contractual matters and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
5. Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.
7. Assist with the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions.

What we're looking for

1. Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
2. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the furniture industry.
3. Strong understanding of furniture contracts, cost management, and project management principles.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficient in the use of cost estimating software and other relevant tools.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure.
