About the Role

The Linear FXEM business is looking for a quantitative strategist at the VP level. The strategist will work globally with other FXEM strategists, the trading desk, sales, structuring, and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing new pricing models and maintaining & improving existing models & analytics.
2. Supporting traders with trade pricing, risk management, and PnL investigation.
3. Developing tools for pricing, risk management, and data-driven insights.
4. Working with IT on delivery and testing of models and tools in trading desk applications.
5. Working with controllers and the model risk groups on model documentation and approval.

Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements

1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. MSc or PhD in mathematics, physics, or a similar quantitative subject.
3. Good understanding of Linear FX/IR products and market conventions.
4. Strong coding and developer skills (preferably Scala and/or C++).
5. Strong technical communication skills & ability to work independently.
