As a Quantitative Analyst, you’ll be a key player in building our trading strategies, using data and models tailored to the Japanese power market. You’ll work side by side with traders and quantitative experts, contributing directly to our growth in this high-potential market.
Your Role as a Quantitative Analyst
We’re looking for a highly analytical self-starter with a passion for data, problem-solving, and the power markets. In this role, you’ll develop proprietary models and leverage market-specific insights to support data-driven decision-making in our trading activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement statistical models for Japan's power market
- Analyze market data to forecast power prices and supply-demand dynamics
- Collaborate with traders to translate quantitative insights into trading strategies
- Continuously refine models to adapt to rapid changes in the market
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or Engineering
- Experience with time-series analysis, forecasting, and quantitative techniques
- Strong coding skills (Python preferred)
- Knowledge of power markets is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
