The Quality, Trade Compliance & Export Control Manager of Safran Seats Asia will be the focal point for all questions related to Quality internally and externally. This role has responsibility for leading Safran Seats Asia organization in maintaining a Quality Framework (Management System) which satisfies the requirements of AS9100, Aviation Authorities, One Safran and all customer specific requirements.

Role / Responsibilities

1. Support our customers & contribute to their satisfaction:
   • Answer the Customer evaluation questionnaires to include Safran Seats Asia in the customers assessed suppliers' base.
   • Monitor customer claims.
2. Support our Management System:
   • Maintain Safran Seats Asia EN9100 certification as part of Safran Seats certificate.
   • Manage monthly performance meetings at management level & process reviews twice a year.
   • Monitor improvement action plans.
   • Conduct process audits as per internal Audit Plan.
   • Implement & monitor Safety Management System.
   • Participate in Aftermarket quality network & contribute to best practices sharing.
3. Support operations in APAC region:
   • Support aftermarket activities (Field Support, Repairs, Total Care Support Agreement for spares) from an operational point of view.
   • Ensure compliance to regulations of those activities.
   • Participate in Quality oversight of those activities.

Competencies

• Good knowledge of EN / ISO norms.
• Good knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations.
• Good understanding and knowledge of Process management.
• Experience in Audit for at least two years – EN9100 / P145 auditor certified is a plus.
• Experience in Quality for about 5 years.

Estimated time: 70% of full time

Trade Compliance Responsibilities

1. Ensure that the Safran Trade Compliance procedures and their corresponding Safran Seats instructions are fully deployed, ensuring that staff is properly trained and aware of procedures.
2. Ensure that the CEO is committed to Trade compliance and complies with requirements.
3. Update the trade compliance risk mapping twice a year.
4. Report any item of interest to the Safran Seats Trade Compliance Officer and alert in case of non-compliance risks.
5. Be the focal point for Trade Compliance review and internal control audits and monitor action plan follow-up.

Export Control Responsibilities

1. Prevent risks:
   • Evaluate the risks to implement and monitor the associated action plan.
   • Alert the Empowered Official (EO) and Export Control Officer (ECO) of any non-compliance, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
2. Operational:
   • Ensure the follow-up of product classification shown in the ERP.
   • Process and assist internal users in their requests for information, authorizations or export licenses, allowing the export of goods.
   • Coordinate and lead the processes related to export control.
   • Set up the archiving of documents related to the export control.
3. Raise awareness, train and communicate:
   • Inform and conduct awareness sessions to the company's staff.
   • Set up communications and forward relevant information to the company's staff - email, intranet site, InSeats, etc.
4. Control the compliance of operations:
   • Ensure compliance of exports with the terms and conditions of export authorizations and with the company internal export control policies and processes.
   • Provide regular reports, indicators on the company's export control activities and issues.
   • Ensure that compliance commitments from and towards partners (customers, service providers, etc.) are signed and comply with the applicable regulations.
   • Monitor the application of all procedures, instructions and the Internal Compliance Program (ICP).
