Quality Engineer

The Role

Join the team at Safran Electronics & Defense Services Asia Pte Ltd as an Assistant Quality Engineer. In this full-time position located in the Changi East Region, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across the company's manufacturing and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure compliance with airworthiness regulatory requirements and quality standards
2. Administration of quality audit program, conduct of internal quality audits and vendor audits
3. Conduct training on quality related subjects, airworthiness regulations and human factors
4. Monitoring of Safety Management System program
5. Administration of approved vendor program
6. Validation of capability evaluation reviews
7. Administrate and assessment of personnel authorization approval
8. Conduct incident investigation, 8D defect analysis and drive corrective actions
9. Participate in regulatory and customer audits
10. Actively participate and contribute to HSE initiatives & Corporate HSE programs and in HSE risk communications & mitigations.
11. Support and participation in Continuous Improvement program
12. Any other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

1. Diploma / Degree holder in aviation related, mechanical /electrical / electronicengineering or equivalent
2. CAAS paper L11/L12, H11, M9, M10 and/or equivalent will be advantageous
3. Minimum 2 years relevant working experience in aviation quality field will be an advantageous
4. Knowledge on airworthiness regulatory requirements and AS9110 & AS9120 Standards
5. Trained Internal Quality Auditor or Lead Auditor is preferred
6. Safety Management System trained will be an added advantage
7. Good communication and procedure writing skills
8. Willing to work excess hours when required
9. Able to travel in short notice
10. Possess knowledge of statistical tools and methodology
11. Good team player with problem solving skills and good time management
