Quality Control Officer

Job Summary: This position is to support the QC Manager in maintaining the food safety system by complying to standards and to ensure safe and quality products are released to the market.

Responsibilities:

• Support in the BRC, HACCP and ISO22000 certification, regulatory and customer audits
• Maintain the equipment calibration system in the factory.
• Supervise and conduct on the job training to technicians to ensure job competency.
• Participate in line improvement project and cost saving projects
• Perform trouble shooting when non-conformance issues arise and data collection to propose on the holdback product disposition.
• Procure and keep track of lab consumables.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

• Minimum Diploma or degree
• 2 years of relevant experience in Food Industry

Professional Qualifications:

• Certified in Food Technology, Food Science or its equivalent

Aptitude and Skills:

• Possess strong leadership qualities
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Good analytical skill

• Able to start work immediately or short notice would be preferred
