Job Description

1. Position: Quality Control Assistant (Food Manufacturing)
2. Well Established Singapore Based Frozen Seafood Processing SME
3. Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:30pm); Saturday (8am - 12pm)
4. Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $1,800 + OT + Variable Bonus (At Least 1 Month)
5. Working Location: Jurong
6. Employee Meals Provided
7. Outpatient Medical & Dental Insurance Provided
8. Duration: Permanent
9. Industry: Frozen Seafood Manufacturing Production

Main Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for day-to-day inspection of in-process and finished products.
2. Conduct daily hygiene inspection of process workers, process rooms and related areas to ensure it meets the required standards.
3. Ensure proper records of product and hygiene inspections.
4. Responsible for reporting any non-conformance of products/process/ hygiene violation in a timely manner.
5. Assist in guiding production leaders/operators in implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement in production area.
6. Assist in product development and ensure proper maintenance of all data, documents and records relating to product development.
7. Assist QA Executive in implementation/ maintenance of SFA, Halal, ISO22000 & HACCP certifications.
8. Assist QA Executive on Quality-related matters.

Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma in Food Science or Microbiology.
2. At least 1 years' experience as Quality Control in Food Manufacturing industry.
3. Understanding of ISO 22000/ HACCP/GMP/ Halal requirements is an advantage.
4. Meticulous, positive working attitude, able to cooperate and communicate with all levels of employees.
