The Quality Assurance (QA) tester is a member of the Products and Engineering – Quality Assurance team in NETS Solutions and will report to the Project Manager or Team Lead in charge of the project. He/She will be working with the business and technical units to create test objectives, test strategies and test cases as well as perform quality testing of product development and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Software Developers to develop effective strategies and test plans
Review and analyse product specifications to create test scenarios and test cases
Create automation test scripts based on the test cases
Execute test cases (manual or automated), capture comprehensive test result and perform analyse on the test results
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Conduct post-release testing during product maintenance phase
Help on troubleshoot when encountered issue during test execution
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Requirements
Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent education.
3-5 years of working experience in QA testing in the payments industry is preferred.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrate good analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
Good team player and positive attitude.
Domain knowledge and experience in financial industry/payments systems is a plus.
Familiar with technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Java, MySQL, and XML is a plus
