Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector to join our team. The QA Inspector will be responsible for ensuring that our customer’s products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining our quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, shipping documents and labels and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Review and interpret, specifications, and work instructions.
• Perform tests and measurements using various tools and equipment to verify product quality.
• Document and report inspection results, highlighting any defects or non-conformities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality control activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality regulations and standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures and policies.
• Executes quality related tasks and/or quality supporting tasks per Quality Engineer/Quality Assurance Assistant Manager/Quality and Compliance Head direction.
• Any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a QA Inspector or similar role in a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g. callipers, micrometres, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with ISO standards and other relevant quality management systems is a plus.
