To improve, implement and maintain factory-wide QA/QC documentation and programmes in compliance with the company’s GMP SOP to ensure materials, components, finished products and reporting conform to customers’ requirements and industry standards.
To assist HOD in coordinating and implementing QA/QC daily activities, ensuring that the quality of products conforms to product specifications and customers’ requirements.
Implement strict QC SOPs, ensuring all packers at the production floor are adequately trained and competent to execute their responsibilities effectively in their respective work areas.
To perform bulk inspection on incoming products and review the product certificate of analysis based on the registered specification.
To plan production schedules, procedures, and work instructions for overall quality control and coordinate the effective implementation of such plans, procedures, or instructions.
To conduct QC of product quality parameters daily with scheduled and random spot-checks, approve product release, sampling instructions, specifications, test methods, and other quality control procedures.
To identify, propose, and source consumables, equipment, and machines related to Packing Plant and Quality Assurance.
Maintain accurate records, organize and maintain the filing system for all company documents, ensuring easy retrieval when needed, and ensure that all documents are current, properly formatted, and accessible to relevant personnel.
Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity, standards, metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
To liaise with third parties on matters related to the company’s GMP production facilities, machinery maintenance, certifications renewal, audits, customer feedback, and product complaints. The third parties shall include certification bodies, customers, suppliers, sub-contractors, and authorities.
Assist in various production support functions as required by management from time to time.
Job Requirement
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Assurance, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Science, Business, or related discipline.
At least 2 years of working experience with knowledge in QA/QC, familiar with standards and practices such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and any other Quality Management certifications.
Strong organizational and planning skills, independent and able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in meeting deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, dynamic team player.
Proactive and reliable in identifying issues in documentation processes and production processes, proposing effective corrective actions and solutions.
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office software.
