Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Quality Management: Support quality control and assurance functions, ensuring high standards.

  • Team Leadership: Assist in leading and mentoring the quality team for a productive work environment.

  • Process Improvement: Develop, implement, and enhance quality frameworks and procedures.

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to food safety regulations (SFA, FSSC 22000, HACCP) and company policies.

  • Problem-Solving: Support production in troubleshooting and resolving quality issues.

  • Audit & Reporting: Lead internal/external quality audits and prepare performance reports for management.

  • Training: Conduct food safety and HACCP training for factory employees.

Requirements:

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with SFA, FSSC 22000, GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations in Singapore.

  • Industry Experience: Hands-on experience in a similar food manufacturing/production setting.

  • Education & Skills:

    • Diploma/Degree in Food Science, Technology, or equivalent.

    • At least 3 years of experience in the food industry.

    • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    • Proactive, detail-oriented, and independent.
