QM Engineer (Up to $3800 / 5 days / Pioneer)

Location: Pioneer, transport pick up Singapore and JB Bukit Indah
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 8:30am – 17:30pm
Salary: $3000 - $3800

Job Description

1. Lead internal quality audits to assess the compliance of manufacturing processes with established quality standards and requirements.
2. Facilitate process buyoff by collaborating with cross-functional teams to validate process changes or improvements before full-scale implementation.
3. Identify areas for improvement and implement or follow up on corrective actions to enhance the efficiency and quality of manufacturing processes.
4. Maintain documentation of audit findings, system checks, and process buyoff outcomes.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
6. Provide support and preparation for external audits such as customer audits, ISO audits, by ensuring relevant documentation and records are readily available and up to date.
7. Perform data analysis based on customer feedback, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
8. Exercise safety and disciplinary control within own section.
9. Regularly update and maintain documentation including ISO documents, Control Plan, and Inspection Checklist to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
10. Any other responsibilities as assigned by superior.

1. Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management or equivalent.
2. At least 2 years experience in a QA role, Data Analyst, or similar function.
3. Proficiency in statistical tools and software, such as Minitab, JMP, Tableau, Python, or similar for data analysis.
4. Proficiency in statistical concepts and analysis.
5. Experience working with ISO 9001 Quality management system, including knowledge of its requirements and implementation best practices.
6. Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and techniques for analyzing process variability.
7. Familiarity with QA tools and methodology such as 8D (Eight Disciplines) Methodology, Mistake Proofing (POKA YOKE), Root Cause Analysis, and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
8. Knowledge in hard disk media processes.
