QC Technician (Perm, Luxury Watch retail, Office hours)

Location: Central

Working Hours: Mon to Fri, Office hours

Salary: Up to $4,000 per month

Job Description:

• To adopt the prescribed methods and ensure accuracy during the quality control process.
• To work closely and render support to the Service Center to ensure the following duties are carried out but not limited to:
• Control watches and movements according to established guidelines.
• Ensure the correct application of required quality at all times (avoid over – and under – quality).
• Ensure the proper use and maintenance of work equipment.
• Report any decline in observed quality or recurrent errors to his/her superior and the workshop.
• To inform supervisor in the event of lack of company provided direction on quality checks for any caliber.
• To comply with technical guidelines set out by the Company and ensure quality work is carried out.
• To discuss issues and provide feedback, if any, to superior to achieve productivity level.
• Maintain all equipment in optimum working condition.
• Technical tasks, depending on organization needs and structure, for example:
• Reassemble watches with refused estimates.
• Perform small interventions (change of strap/bracelet and/or battery, time setting, etc.).
• Provide administrative and operational support to CS operations.
• Report all data anomalies observed with components and operations within work orders (WO) to ensure an up-to-date database.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the estimation process.
• To comply with technical guidelines set out by the Company and ensure quality work is carried out.
• To discuss issues and provide feedback to superior for optimizing productivity level.

Requirements:

• Diploma or technical certification in Quality Control, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in quality control, preferably in the luxury retail or manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with quality assurance tools and techniques, including inspection and testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
