QC SPECIALIST

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Incoming inspection of raw material.
2. Conduct Final Dimensional and Functional Inspection.
3. Verify the inspection method and identify problems related to measurement.
4. Maintain all measuring equipment and perform internal calibration.
5. Document and report sampling results, testing activities, and results.
6. Maintain accuracy of QC data and records.
7. Perform dimensional and visual inspection of testing samples for new projects, refurbished molds, and new molds.
8. Identify and resolve workflow issues.
9. Address and discuss inspection issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
10. Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
11. Maintain documentation of quality control activities.
12. Prepare COC & COQ based on shipment plan.
13. Perform routine inspections and quality tests.
14. Other ad-hoc jobs, if required.

Required skills and knowledge:

1. Injection molding or other manufacturing exposure.
2. Basic QC knowledge and use of simple equipment.
3. Able to read drawings.
4. Knowledge of operating a computer and using Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
5. Basic knowledge of equipment handling such as Smart Scope, Micro-Vu, Height Gauge, Caliper, etc.
6. Able to read drawings and prepare reports.
7. Basic knowledge of pin gauges calibration (In House).
8. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
9. Ability to write and understand simple English.
10. Basic knowledge of GDP & GMP.
11. Good time-management skills.
12. Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
