QC SPECIALIST
Job description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct Incoming inspection of raw material.
- Conduct Final Dimensional and Functional Inspection.
- Verify the inspection method and identify problems related to measurement.
- Maintain all measuring equipment and perform internal calibration.
- Document and report sampling results, testing activities, and results.
- Maintain accuracy of QC data and records.
- Perform dimensional and visual inspection of testing samples for new projects, refurbished molds, and new molds.
- Identify and resolve workflow issues.
- Address and discuss inspection issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
- Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities.
- Maintain documentation of quality control activities.
- Prepare COC & COQ based on shipment plan.
- Perform routine inspections and quality tests.
- Other ad-hoc jobs, if required.
Required skills and knowledge:
- Injection molding or other manufacturing exposure.
- Basic QC knowledge and use of simple equipment.
- Able to read drawings.
- Knowledge of operating a computer and using Microsoft Office (Excel & Word).
- Basic knowledge of equipment handling such as Smart Scope, Micro-Vu, Height Gauge, Caliper, etc.
- Able to read drawings and prepare reports.
- Basic knowledge of pin gauges calibration (In House).
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to write and understand simple English.
- Basic knowledge of GDP & GMP.
- Good time-management skills.
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
