QC Manager

Job Description:

1. Supervision of QC and Operations Department
2. Provide leadership and guidance to the QC and Operations teams, ensuring alignment with company goals
3. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity
4. Monitor day-to-day operations to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects
5. Manage team performance through regular reviews, coaching, and development plans
6. Oversee the manufacturing processes of marine boilers, including welding, fitting, and retubing
7. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during the fabrication and maintenance phases
8. Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
9. Develop maintenance schedules for marine boilers and heat exchangers to minimize downtime
10. Coordinate maintenance activities, including preventive and corrective measures
11. Evaluate maintenance processes and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability
12. Monitor all quality-related activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma/ Degree in Engineering from recognized university or polytechnic
2. Ability to work independently, hardworking and a fast learner
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels, both written and verbal
4. Team player
