Responsibilities:
· To implement and maintenance of all quality and food safety control processes are in compliance to company’s standard, ISO22000 and local statutory requirement.
· Responsible for the compliance with MUIS Halal Standards, application and renewal of Halal Certification
· Establish/review HACCP study, food safety & quality policy, manual and, SOP
· To perform site inspections for continuous feedback and track improvements.
· Drive continuous improvement project to sustain food quality and safety in central kitchen
· To develop training materials to conduct food safety trainings to operational staff.
· To manage customer complaints investigation and perform trouble-shooting and drive process improvement program to ensure high standard of food safety and quality.
· Liaise with purchasing/supplier on non-conformance of item with follow up on the corrective actions/preventive action by the supplier.
· Track, analyse and execute corrective/preventive action initiatives for non-conformance and complaint issues
· To manage the master product sampling, swab samplings, shelf life validation studies for new and regular product.
· Perform QA audit at central kitchen and outlets and prepare QA analysis reports for non-conformance.
· To support QA Manager in supplier management program (Audit and ingredient approval).
· Manage external inspection and liaise with regulatory agencies.
· Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
· Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Food Technology/ Food Science or equivalent.
· Minimum 2 years work experience in QAQC related field in food industry, preferably from food manufacturing/food service/food retail.
· Relevant experience in GMP, HACCP, Halal and ISO 22000 will be an added advantage.
· Interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Self-motivated and able to work independently with high level of initiative and resourcefulness
