QAQC Asst Engineer [Entry Level | Up to $3.5K]

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct internal audits and supplier audits
2. Assist in ensuring corrective actions are in place and in compliance
3. Assist in establishing procedures/work instructions and maintain documents
4. Analyse test reports and work with the relevant teams for improvement actions
5. Attend to potential quality issues and address follow-up actions with cross-functional team members
6. Liaison with the relevant teams on root cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions for non-conformance or procedural failure
7. Support preparation of QA/QC plans, formulate QC checklists, inspections, and procedures
8. Assist in the compilation of monthly reports
9. Maintain certification-related documentation
10. Assist in QA/QC's HSE in areas of hazards/incidents/risk assessments when necessary
11. Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

1. Knowledge of metal-related industrial standards preferred
2. Able to work independently, have initiative, and be a good team player
3. Diligent, responsible, and energetic
4. Knowledge in problem-solving methodologies: 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, SPC
5. Meticulous with good communication skills
